These booking terms apply to all bookings of events facilitated through the TastingHub platform (hereinafter "TastingHub"). Information about the operator can be found in the imprint.
The booking contract is concluded exclusively between the customer (hereinafter "Participant") and the respective event organizer. TastingHub acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to the event contract.
These terms apply to consumers within the meaning of Art. 2 No. 1 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
The pre-contractual information required by Art. 6 of Directive 2011/83/EU (identity of the organizer, essential characteristics of the service, total price, payment modalities, exclusion of withdrawal right) is provided on the respective event page before booking.
The presentation of events on TastingHub constitutes a binding offer by the respective organizer.
By clicking the "Book with Payment" button, the Participant submits a binding offer to conclude an event contract with the organizer.
The contract is concluded upon receipt of the booking confirmation by email.
All stated prices are final prices including statutory VAT.
Payment is made depending on the organizer's offer via online payment (credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.) through the payment service provider Mollie, or via bank transfer upon receipt of the invoice.
For online payments, the amount is due immediately. For bank transfers, the payment deadline stated on the invoice applies.
According to Art. 16 lit. l) of Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) or the corresponding national implementations, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for services related to leisure activities that provide for a specific date.
Since the events facilitated through TastingHub are leisure services with a fixed date (e.g., wine, beer, cheese tastings), the statutory right of withdrawal is excluded.
This applies throughout the EU according to:
Independent of the statutory withdrawal right, the organizer grants the Participant a voluntary cancellation right.
The specific cancellation conditions are displayed on the respective event page and may vary by organizer. The standard conditions are:
The cancellation conditions displayed at the time of booking are binding.
Cancellations are made via the cancellation link contained in the booking confirmation.
For cancellations with refund entitlement and online payment, the refund is automatically credited to the original payment method.
For bank transfers, the refund is made by the organizer to the account specified by the Participant.
The organizer is responsible for the proper execution of the event.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event due to insufficient participants or other important reasons. In this case, a full refund of the ticket price will be made.
Changes to the event location or time will be communicated to the Participant by email in a timely manner. In case of significant changes, the Participant has the right to cancel free of charge.
TastingHub, as an intermediary, is not liable for:
Claims in connection with the event should be directed to the organizer.
TastingHub's liability for the intermediary platform is governed by general statutory provisions.
TastingHub's liability for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages arising from injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.
Personal data collected during booking is processed in accordance with TastingHub's privacy policy.
Booking data is transmitted to the respective organizer on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), who requires it for event execution. The organizer thereby becomes an independent controller within the meaning of the GDPR.

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
For consumers residing in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of residence additionally apply, insofar as they provide greater protection.
The place of jurisdiction for disputes with consumers is the consumer's place of residence or Wels, Austria.
Should individual provisions of these booking terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
